I love to meditate but ive hardly made any time for it the past 3 monthsish!! I prefer to do it visually in a space in a mind. Really helps to sit with specific feelings and topics. A great way, i find, to nurture ourselves. I'll have to just be still and quiet like im observing myself sometime !!

I try this too, but I struggle with focus. When your mind gets noisy, how do you deal with it?

I don’t try to focus. I let the noise unfold. I don’t seek anything, no stability. I let the movement happen. It’s more about movement than trying to fix something in place — even attention. It’s more of an adventure than forcing things to stop or trying to pin them down.

After a while — sometimes quickly, sometimes it takes longer — the mind tends to settle on its own. But that’s not fixed or guaranteed either; sometimes the noise comes back.

In my case, this sitting in silence, which I prefer not to call meditation, is more of an inner movement than a static state I try to maintain at all costs. Movement feels more natural to me.
